Temporary Closure of B & J Parr

We will be back.

As of 27 March 2020

As you are aware, the world is facing unparalleled challenges due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus. Despite our best efforts to remain open in order to continue to provide our usual high-quality services, it is with a heavy heart we have to let you know that we have decided to temporarily close B & J Parr.

Following the Prime Minister’s speech and recent updates to government guidelines, whilst there was no specific clarity around manufacturing, it was made clear that the UK’s principal focus was towards social distancing, to aid in preventing the spread further and to ‘smooth the curve’.

We are living in an ever-changing situation. We will continue to review the government guidelines as they evolve, and will do everything we can to reopen as soon as feasibly possible. All members of Management will be contactable as normal, for the quickest response please contact them directly on the details shown below. Until otherwise advised, please ensure all planned site visits are cancelled.

Whilst I know this is not the news any of us wanted to hear, the welfare of our team is what we need to focus on right now. Values have always been at the core of B & J Parr, which is why we have to stand by those values and prioritise the welfare and safety of our team. We cannot express the gratitude we feel towards the level of positivity and commitment shown by everyone here at such a challenging time. It is because of that support, we are sure we will be able to come back stronger than ever before, hopefully within the next three weeks.

Thank you for your ongoing support and please stay safe!
